Titles can be found as ebooks/audiobooks on Sora. (Sora Links will be updated in September 2026)
All titles are available through the Tigard Public Library or the Tualatin Public Library (Washington County Libraries - WCCLS). If you don't have a Public Library Card yet, you can find out how to get an e-access care here.
Books can be checked out from the OBOB display in our Durham Elementary Library (2 books may be checked out at a time).
Sets of Title/Author flashcards will be delivered to students in their homerooms by in October. But, you can also download the PDF and print it out to make Title/Author Flashcards to practice for battles.
If you have cardstock (heavier paper) it would work best to print these on cardstock before cutting them out. Or, you can print them out and glue them onto cardstock and then cut them out.
You can also make your own flashcards at home out of construction paper or index cards.
Taking notes while you read about important characters, places (settings), main ideas (themes), and important events (plot and action), will help you be able to remember more details for OBOB Battles.
This is not a required activity - these are just to help you, if you want to use them.
Packets will be delivered to your homeroom in October. Or, to use these pages at home, you can:
1) Download the PDF and print out just the pages of the books from your Reading List and take notes.
2) Download the PDF and print out all of the pages to create a reading log to take notes about all of the OBOB books.
Would you like to find practice questions for your team, or to practice on your own?
