By September 1 - Activate your UChicago cnet ID and log in to my.uchicago.edu
By September 1 - Any final transcripts should be received by TTIC (ecocom@ttic.edu). Please be sure to confirm that we have received it.
By September 1 – Complete TTIC Personal Information Form
By September 5 - Confirm attendance with TTIC for Orientation week. If you cannot arrive by and attend Orientation, make alternate arrangements with Student Services.
By September 21 - Activate your TTIC Populi account (from email invitation).
By September 22 - Complete your pre-requisite form (link provided at a later date) to discuss in your Tuesday meetings with your advisor and Director of Grad Studies.
By September 22 - Complete the annual bio confirmations inside my.uchicago.edu.
By October 2 - Immunizations must be uploaded to TTIC and UChicago (Health Matters page)
Activate/enroll in USHIP health insurance for 2026-27 by October 16 at noon (CST).
Secure your housing. (Housing Information page)
Student Visa secured (if needed). Consult with Amy Minick, aminick@ttic.edu. More information on student visas can be found at the US Dept. of Homeland Security site.
If you are changing addresses inside the US, fill out a change of address form through the US Post Office to have your mail sent to your new Chicago address.
Set up utilities at your new place of residence (if necessary). Pay close attention to dates and times when scheduling (electric, cable, phone, internet, etc.). * Refer to Utilities section of the Housing Resources page.
Secure parking at your new place of residence (if necessary)
TTIC will not store any boxes/parcels received by mail or express carrier send prior to orientation week unless arranged ahead of time. Please make arrangement requests via contact@ttic.edu.
