The mission of Thornridge High School Journalism 101 and The TR Bagpipe is to provide information that is objective, well-written, entertaining, enlightening, challenging, and useful. Information printed will be of substance, integrity, honest, and unbiased news reporting.
The TR Bagpipe is an open forum for student expression. The writing, editing, graphics, and photography are contributed by students currently enrolled in Journalism 101 and The TR Bagpipe Newspaper Club of Thornridge High School. Editorial articles strictly reflect the opinions of the student writer and should not be a representation of The TR Bagpipe staff or advisors.
The TR Bagpipe envisions a 21st-century journalistic approach that engages the school and districtwide communities, where student journalists are ethical, committed to diversity and inclusivity, and incorporate technology to serve Thornridge High School.
