How do we create and share compelling stories? Let's learn together about the many forms of facets of storytelling, as well as the means through which we can amplify voices and perspectives via various forms of technology, both old and new.
This course is an introduction to the world of drones. You will be given the opportunity to learn how to fly and program the Parrot Mambo Mission. Participants will be supported in securing the FAA Certified Drone Pilot license that will allow you to pilot them legally at your schools. Future opportunities could focus on becoming an aerial videographer, a land surveyor, construction site mapper, wildlife tracker and more.
Develop an understanding of robotics, from the why to the what and the how. With a regional team, explore not only robotics, but the opportunities, experiences, and questions that come with this emerging field of study.
Work with local expert Matt Sacco (see his image to the left) on how to setup, record and recover images using the Moultrie A40i trail camera. Receive continuing support to trouble shoot as well as create additional experiments and opportuities for learning.
