Grades will come from a combination of participation, tests/quizzes, in-class student work, and projects. All assignments are weighted the same. You can check your child's grades on PowerSchool. If I have specific concerns, I will communicate that to you. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Heart Word List 2024-2025
This is the Heart Word list for the school year. Words will be introduced weekly and assessed every midterm and 9 weeks. I want my kids to be able to read, write, spell, and locate a given word. There are also some weeks set aside for heart word review.

Each time a student reads for 20 minutes, you can record it on the reading log. When the reading log is complete, students can return it and choose a class coupon.
