1. You can choose one of the PE Pump Up workout videos that are on the link on my teacher website. (There are six videos to choose from down at the bottom of the page) These are short fitness videos that will work on different aspects of fitness such as strength, agility, balance, etc. The cool part is that I am actually in the videos along with some other PE teachers. Have fun with them, but don’t make fun of me in the videos!! HAHA. Don’t worry about doing each exercise correctly. Focus on moving and doing YOUR BEST!
2. If the weather permits you will go outside and do a 15 minute walk and run around your house. Try to run 2 times around your house and then walk once and repeat for 15 minutes. If that is too hard than you can run one and walk two. If that is easy you are more than welcome to try and run for the entire 15 minutes.
-If the weather doesn’t permit you can jog in place in your house for 2 minutes and then walk in place for 1 minute etc.
3. The last activity that you can choose from is a 5 minute continuous workout that you can do anywhere that you choose.
- Minute 1: Jumping jacks
- Minute 2: High Knees
- Minute 3: Walking (rest time)
- Minute 4: Forward and backwards jumps as fast as you can
- Minute 5: Butt kicks
Once you are finished you can rest for a bit and then you will repeat this same workout two more times. That is a total of 15 minutes.
I know this is not ideal for all of us, however these activities are a good way to get your blood flowing while you are home and to still be able to work on your fitness. I miss all of you and am looking forward to seeing you sooner than later!! Remember to do YOUR BEST and to HAVE FUN!
