Students will have the following regular daily homework:

Reading

Weekly Reading Story from "myBook"

Read for 20 minutes

Weekly Word Study Page

Spelling

Each Monday beginning in the 4th week, students will begin to practice their weekly spelling list. All students will be tested on the same skill words. In addition to the skill words, there will be 5 challenge words and 2 review words from the previous week. Spelling lists will be sent home on Friday for practice during the following week. Your child will then be tested on the words on the following Friday. Spelling lists can be found on the back of the Pink Weekly Word Study page.

Math

Practice Math Facts

Many of the above assignments do not have a specific night to be completed; so, they are flexible with your evening schedules. Students who complete their assignments will earn tickets that can be turned in on Friday mornings. These tickets will be entered into a drawing to earn rewards each week.
