McCutcheon High School Literacy Team

The Literacy Team is a professional learning group appointed by the McCutcheon High School administration. The team studies topics related to the school-wide goal for the year and provides faculty with useful information and research-based instructional strategies related to that goal. Team members meet on a regular basis to learn, share what they have learned, and collaborate on initiatives that will benefit teachers and ultimately contribute to student success.

Team members represent a cross-section of the faculty; membership rotates according to teachers’ availability and interest in serving. Past topics include Reading Comprehension at the Secondary Level, Reading Comprehension and ELLs, Diversity and Anti-Racism.
