Accelerated Reader

Mintonye third graders are assigned reading goals every nine weeks. Students are encouraged to find books that they will enjoy reading at their level. Each child takes a STAR test to determine the appropriate reading level at each nine weeks. I encourage you to help your child keep track of progress toward his/her goal by using the Renaissance Home Connect website:

Scholastic Book Club

I will send home order forms every few months for the latest book order. These orders will be in your child's Friday Folder. You may either order online or send the paper order form with your child and pay by credit card, check (made payable to Scholastic), or exact change only.
