My grading philosophy is based on a belief that if a student isn't scoring in a passing (A/B) range, they need to be retaught the skills that they haven't yet learned and reassessed. For the most part, this will be my methodology.

IEP Progress Report
Progress on your child's IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals that were agreed upon during your child's most recent case conference will be sent home every nine weeks along with his/her academic report card. If your child attends a core subject in the resource room, those grades will be given by their resource room teacher. For subjects that your child attends in the general education classroom, those grades will be given by their classroom teacher.
