Hi! I’m Lisa Bol,
I'm thrilled to serve as the 4th & 5th-grade Resource and Inclusion teacher at Woodland Elementary this year!
I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education; I have dedicated the past 29 years to teaching students in various settings, including public schools, private institutions, and homeschooling.
Originally from Elkhart, Indiana, I have lived most of my adult life in Indianapolis. I moved to Lafayette the summer before last to be closer to friends and family. I married my sweet husband the summer before last, and together we have six grown children and five grandchildren living in St. Paul, Colorado Springs, Aspen, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Lafayette. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, and hiking.
Building strong relationships with my students and their families is a priority for me. I believe that families can provide invaluable insights about their students, and I see the school, student, and family as an unbeatable team.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I can’t wait to meet your student!
