Welcome to my first grade classroom!  First grade is such an exciting year for children and their growth from the first day of school to the last day of school is amazing.  This will be my 31th year teaching and I have loved every minute.   

I am a hometown girl, born and raised in Lafayette.  I attended TSC schools as a child and graduated from Harrison High School.  Following high school I furthered my education at Purdue University where I received a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, along with a kindergarten endorsement. 

I have been married for 34 years to my wonderful husband, Roger.  We have three grown daughters, three wonderufl son-in-laws,  and two grandsons .  Our family really enjoys sports, especially soccer.  I love to read and relax with my family.
