Tree House Families

Welcome to our first grade classroom! It is going to be an amazing year in first grade, and I am so excited to welcome all the new members of the Tree House! Our classroom is a student-centered learning environment created to make children feel safe and loved. I value and celebrate that every child is a different type of learner and strive to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles in my classroom. Differentiated instruction through choice and engaging activities with real-world applications are a top priority. Student families are also viewed as a part of our team, and communication and family participation are a huge part of student success! Strong, positive relationships are the foundation of meaningful learning, and we will work to build our classroom community from the moment students walk through the door! We have an exciting year in front of us, full of fun and learning!
