Our classroom will use ClassDojo as our main communication tool.

Through ClassDojo, you will be able to:

• Receive classroom updates and reminders

• See the wonderful things happening in our classroom

• Send me a quick message if you have questions or concerns

Information about joining our class will be shared at Meet the Teacher Night.

Positive Praise

Students can earn Dojo points by:

• Making positive choices

• Showing kindness and respect

• Working hard and staying on task

• Being a helpful member of Peck's Pack

Students can use their points for classroom rewards throughout the year.

Please don't worry if your child doesn't earn points every day. Sometimes we get caught up in learning and celebrating together, and I may not always award points in the moment.

Peck's Pack Class Reward

We are a team, and we will work together to fill our Peck's Pack Jar!

Our class can earn items in the jar when we:

• Receive compliments from others

• Are all on task and working hard

• Show teamwork and kindness

When our jar is full, we will celebrate with a special whole-class reward!

Making Positive Choices

If a student is having difficulty meeting expectations, the following steps may occur:

• 1st Offense: Verbal reminder/warning

• 2nd Offense: Loss of a Dojo point

• 3rd Offense: Parent contact and possible loss of recess time to reflect and discuss behavior

If behaviors continue or a major incident occurs, additional consequences may be necessary, including a visit to the principal's office.
