Hello! My name is Kennedy Peckinpaugh, and I am so excited to be your child’s fifth-grade teacher!

I recently graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a dual license in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, along with a concentration in STEM. During my time at PFW, I also had the opportunity to play Division I softball where I developed a strong sense of teamwork, perseverance, and determination, and I look forward to bringing those values into our Peck’s Pack classroom family.

Teaching has always been my passion because I love helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to create an engaging, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and encouraged to take risks in their learning. I believe that strong relationships and a positive classroom community help students reach their full potential.

I am especially excited because I attended Mintonye as a student, and I have the incredible opportunity to return to teach in the very same fifth-grade classroom where I once sat as a student. Coming full circle in this way makes this year even more meaningful!

I look forward to an amazing year together. Please feel free to contact me anytime at kfpeckinpaugh@tsc.k12.in.us.
