KINDERGARTEN GRADING POLICY

The method for establishing grades at the kindergarten level is a checklist of outcomes that relate to the Indiana Academic Standards. Our kindergarten progress report is given at the end of each 9 week period. It covers Language Arts, Writing, Personal Development/Practical Skills, Mathematics, Science, Health, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Personal Growth and Social Habits. 

Ratings is 4= Mastery (100%-90%)

3= Approaching Mastery (89%-80%)

2= Developing Mastery (79%-70%)

1= Needs Time to Master (60%-0%)
