* Students who are being transported to school by parents may wait in the car rider line prior to 8:25 A.M. Students who are not riding the bus to or from school need to be dropped off and picked up in the car rider line. Bus riders will be released by drivers to enter the front doors.
Dismissal will begin around 2:50 in the car rider line. If your child is a car rider for dismissal, please follow the car rider procedures.
* If your child’s method of going home will be different than your normal procedure (i.e. riding a different bus or being picked up), please send a note or call the school office. If I do not receive a note or a call from the office, your child will be going home as usual.
* Due to weather or other unforeseen issues, we may have a day where the students would have to go home early. If your child will have a different going home procedure on these days, I need to know. We are unable to make phone calls to every family if and when this occurs. Please plan for this possibility.
* Make sure to contact the office in the morning if your child will not be attending school due to illness or for any other reason. In the event of an extended absence, special arrangements will be made.
If your child is tardy (after 8:25 am), please come into the office to sign your child in for the day. Please allow them to walk into class alone to avoid unnecessary classroom interruptions.
* Assessments come from classroom observations and skills testing. Ex: counting, patterns, letter recognition, etc.
Report cards are completed every nine weeks per school year. Parents/Teacher conferences are held in October and March.

* Information will be sent home before trips with necessary information. A background check must be completed and approved for an adult to attend a field trip. These are available in the school office.
* Please let me know if you are interested in helping in the classroom. A volunteer form will need to be filled out and approved before you are able to visit the classroom for parties, field trips or helping. Please see Mrs. West in the office for a volunteer form.
