About Mrs. Karger

Hello!  I am the K-2 special education teacher at Mintonye Elementary.  I have taught over 15 years and I am excited to teach many more!  I have had numerous hours of professional development focusing on inclusion, co-teaching, and Autism.  I believe that learning never ends.

     I grew up near Frankfort in a rural area.  From an early age I knew I wanted to be teacher.  I also loved being a part of band in choir in high school.  I then went to Anderson University and graduated with a bachelor`s degree in elementary education and special education.  

I am married and have a little boy named Elliot.  Our family also has two dogs named Gizmo and Calypso.  We enjoy spending lots of time together.
