Hello! I’m the K–2 special education teacher at Mintonye Elementary. This is my 17th year of teaching, and I’m excited to keep learning and teaching for many more years. I’ve completed many professional development hours in inclusion, co-teaching, and Autism because I believe teachers should keep learning—just like your child!
I grew up near Frankfort in the country. As a kid I loved playing in band and singing in choir. I attended Anderson University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education.
At home I enjoy spending time with my family. I’m married and we have a little boy named Elliot. Our playful dog Calypso is full of energy and loves cuddles. We also have a curious bearded dragon named Charmelion—he’s always ready for his next meal!
I can’t wait for a fun year together!
