Grading

Klondike Elementary Grading Scale:

90% - 100% = A

80% - 89% = B

70% - 79% = C

60% - 69% = D

59% and Below = F

We are going to try and make checking grades on PowerSchool a weekly routine. Almost every assignment can be re-done for a better grade. My belief is that if it was worth learning the first time, it would most definitely be worth revisiting the assignment to do better and learn more about that topic. However, it is up to them to let me know they wanted to re-do an assignment. I will not chase them down and suggest they re-do something. They will learn to take initiative and make an effort to improve their grade. If they see an assignment they would like to re-do, they need to email me and let me know. More information about this will be coming home with students at the beginning of the year.
