Behavior 

Nugget Award Winner: This is awarded weekly to a classmate who has acted as an example for others. The student takes the award to the office and is able to get a book out of the book vending machine! His/her name is also read on the announcements and published in the school newsletter.

Whole Class Reward: Students are working to earn a party through filling our classroom "brownie pan".  "brownies" are awarded when the class earns a compliment from a teacher outside of the classroom. The class can also earn brownies by doing an exceptional job (being a good audience, staying on task, engaged in the lesson, etc.)  

Behavior Corrections: Negative behaviors are recorded on the Classroom teacher's clipboard as corrections under the Golden Rule category needing practice.  Teachers will use logical consequences and strategies to assist with behavior growth.  2 or more corrections will be communicated by a separate call or email.  5 corrections can result in an Office Referral.
