Grading Policy

Music Grading Policy

In music, students are largely graded on participation and respectful behavior --students may lose points if they are preventing the group from engaging in the lesson.

In our thirty minute weekly time, we actively participate in a variety of musical activities designed around these four principles:

Connect *  Listen * Perform * Create

Participation is 100% of the student’s semester grade and is based on these expectations:

• Make Good Choices

• Use Kind Words

• Show Respect

• Involve Yourself

• Care for Our Room  and Instruments
