Grading Policy

During this school year students will earn a weekly score. They will start each week with a perfect score in art, and, if needed, that score will be lowered (with comments explaining why). They have the opportunity to earn 10 points each Art class.

There are 5 categories that are each worth 2 points (equaling 10 points/week):

• • Respect- good listening (2/10)

  • Responsibility- make good choices (2/10)

  • Perseverance- effort (2/10)

  • Cooperation- follow directions (2/10)

  • Integrity- do the right thing, even when no one is looking (2/10)

Total=10/10

Students may lose just 1 or both points in each category each day. If points are lost, there will be comments explaining the reason.
