This is the  beginning of my 24th year teaching third grade.  22 of those years have been here at Dayton!  I love this age group and I love having the siblings of former students in my classroom.  

I live with my 15 year old son Ethan and my dog Penny in Lafayette.  I have lived here since college, but the rest of my family lives in Boston and Philadelphia which makes for great vacations!

I have my degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education from Purdue.  I received my Master's from Indiana State University.  I have my National Board Certification. I love to travel, read, hike, and spend time with friends.
