Hello! My name is Emma Fonseca Pinto, and I am so excited to be your student's teacher this year! This is my second year teaching, and I cannot wait for all the new adventures, discoveries, and opportunities to grow together. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University and completed my student teaching at Wyandotte as well. I'm passionate about creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best. I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is to build a strong classroom community and help each student grow to their full potential.

While I am a recent Purdue grad, I have lived in Greater Lafayette my entire life. My husband Marco, and I, met at Klondike Middle School and are now high school sweethearts. He works as a firefighter in West Lafayette. Outside of teaching, I spend most of my time with Marco and our dog, Aspyn. We love spending time with our families, traveling, listening to live music, playing card games, and being outdoors. We will be welcoming our first baby in late September!
Again, I am thrilled to be teaching this year, especially at Wyandotte and in second grade! This has been my dream since before I can remember and I can't wait to work with you and your student. As an extra little laugh, here is my very own TSC yearbook photo from second grade. I am so appreciative and grateful to give back to the community that so graciously gave to me. ♡
