Hello! My name is Emma Fonseca Pinto and I am so excited to be your student's teacher this year! This is my first year teaching and I cannot wait for all the new adventures, discoveries, and opportunities to grow together. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University, and completed my student teaching at Wyandotte this past year. I'm passionate about creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best. I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is to build a strong classroom community and help each student grow to their full potential.

While I am a recent Purdue grad, I have lived in Greater Lafayette my entire life. My husband Marco, and I, met at Klondike Middle School and are now high school sweethearts. He works as a firefighter in West Lafayette. Outside of teaching, I spend most of my time with Marco and our dog, Aspyn. We love spending time with our families, traveling, listening to live music, playing card games, and being outdoors.
Again, I am thrilled to be teaching this year, especially at Wyandotte and in second grade! This has been my dream since before I can remember and I can't wait to work with you and your student. As an extra little laugh, here is my very own TSC yearbook photo from second grade. I am so appreciative and grateful to give back to the community that so graciously gave to me. ♡
