Behavior Policy

Mr. Rodriguez’s Behavior Plan

Students are expected to come to class ready to learn each and every day. Our classroom follows six basic rules. These rules are:

1. Listen to the teacher / adult.

2. Put your hand up if you want to speak / answer.

3. Respect each other.

4. Be a good friend to everyone.

5. Follow directions the FIRST time.

6. Always try your best.

If a student does not follow one of these rules, the consequences will be as follows:

1. Verbal warning(s)

2. One on one meeting with student to discuss the problem and possible solutions

3. Send notice of inappropriate behavior home to parents

4. Teacher and parent meeting at school

I look forward to a great year! Let me know if you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns.
