Meet Mrs. Bishop!

My name is Cassie Bishop.  I became a teacher at Burnett Creek in 2023, but I had worked as a paraprofessional in the Special Education Resource Rooms of Burnett Creek since 2020.  I also served in our school's PTO for 8 years, including 3 as President.  

I graduated from Purdue University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Lifespan Services.  I have also done some Master's work at Western Michigan University in Counseling.  I taught at Federated Preschool before joining the BCE staff in the fall of 2020.  In the Spring of 2022, I began a transition to teaching program with Indiana Teachers of Tomorrow in Special Education (PK-12). 

I have an amazing family with my husband Mark.  We have four children, Jessica (11th at HHS), Ashton (9th at HHs), Ryan (8th at BGM), and Khloe (6th at BGM).  We also have two cats and a dog.  I enjoy stand up comedy, reading, and puzzles.
