Meet Mrs. Bishop!

My name is Cassie Bishop.  This is my first year as a teacher at Burnett Creek, but I worked as a paraprofessional in the Special Education Resource Rooms of Burnett Creek for 3 years.  I also served in our school's PTO for the last 8 years, including 3 as President.  

I graduated from Purdue University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Lifespan Services.  I have also done some Master's work at Western Michigan University in Counseling.  I taught at Federated Preschool before joining the BCE staff in the fall of 2020.  In the Spring of 2022, I began a transition to teaching program with Indiana Teachers of Tomorrow in Special Education and Elementary Education.  I will be teaching on an Alternative Special Education License while I complete my program.

I have an amazing family with my husband Mark.  We have four children, Jessica (8th at BGM), Ashton (6th at BGM), Ryan (5th at BCE), and Khloe (3rd at BCE).  We also have two cats and a dog.  I enjoy stand up comedy, board games, and puzzles.
