I am thrilled to have the pleasure of being your student's teacher for the 2024-2025 school year!
I have spent 11 years teaching first grade in Tippecanoe School Corporation and 1 year teaching first grade in Benton County. This is my sixth year of teaching fourth grade and I am very excited to be on this journey with you and your child!
This year will be filled with laughter, friendship and so much learning! I believe in our class moto which is "We are ALL in this together!" We will spend the school year learning how to grow together, help each other, and become lifelong learners together!! This has been my classroom theme since long before COVID. The other major theme of our classroom this year will be "Fix Your Words, Fix Your Mindset." Our class will spend time discussing and working on using positive statements when it might be easier to be negative.
I look forward to building a relationship with parents and family as well! You are just as important to your student's education as they are so thank you for being a vital part of his/her learning!
