My name is Allyson Anthrop. This is my 31st year in the classroom. I graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1992, and The University of Nebraska in 1995. I went on to obtain my masters degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011. I am married to Michael Anthrop. He is a cutter grinder at Chrysler in Kokomo. I have four boys: Robbie (29) is a journeyman in the Pipefitters' Union. He got married in the fall of 2024. His wife Katie is a Kindergarten teacher at Woodland Elementary. Jonah (27) is a journeyman in the Pipefitters' Union. He married Maddie, a dental assistant, last fall. Jordan (24) is a journeyman in the union. He married Jayda in February. Eli (24) just obtained journeyman's status in the Pipefitters' Union. He and Kyanna eloped in May. She is a nurse. When I am not teaching I can be found playing with my dogs, reading books, visiting a beach in Michigan, and doing embroidary or other needle crafts and sewing.
I am excited to be back to my roots in the fourth grade where I have 21 years experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your family this school year.
