My name is Allyson Anthrop. This is my 30th year in the classroom. I graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1992, and The University of Nebraska in 1995. I went on to obtain my masters degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011. I am married to Michael Anthrop. He is a cutter grinder at Chrysler in Kokomo. I have four boys: Robbie (28) is a journeyman in the Pipefitters' Union. He got married last fall. His wife Katie is a Kindergarten teacher at Woodland Elementary. Jonah (26) is a journeyman in the Pipefitters' Union. He is getting married to Maddie this fall. Jordan (23) just obtained journeyman's status in the union, and Eli (23) is starting year five in the pipefitter's apprenticeship program. When I am not teaching I can be found playing with my dog, reading books, visiting a beach in Michigan, and camping with my family.
I am excited to be back to my roots in the fourth grade where I have 20 years experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your family this school year.
