Mrs. Anthrop's FIFTH Grade Class

My name is Allyson Anthrop. This is my 25th year in the classroom. I graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1992, and The University of Nebraska in 1995. I went on to obtain my masters degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011. I am married to Michael Anthrop. He is tool and dye maker at Fairfield Manufacturing Company. I have four boys: Robbie (23) just obtained journeyman status in the Pipefitters' Union. Jonah (21) is starting year three of his Pipefitters' apprenticeship program. Jordan (18) is beginning year one in the Pipefitters' apprenticeship program, and Eli (18) is a senior at Harrison. When I am not teaching I can be found playing with my dogs, reading books, and camping with my family.

I am excited to begin my THIRD year in the FIFTH Grade. Our theme is 'JUST KEEP SWIMMING'. I like the quote, "We are all different fish, but in this school we swim together." Working together to find the positives in a very strange school year will be so important as we journey together this year. I am looking forward to spending a great school year with you!
