Grades will be based on a combination of participation, tests and quizzes, projects, and other student work. You can view your child's grades through PowerSchool, which will be updated regularly.
During the first quarter, we focus on learning routines, building confidence, and developing foundational skills. Students will have opportunities to correct mistakes, learn from feedback, and practice new concepts. As the year progresses, expectations will gradually increase. By the fourth quarter, students will be expected to demonstrate greater independence, accuracy, and attention to detail as they apply the skills they have learned throughout the year.
