Behavior

Along with following our school-wide policy (The 5 Golden Rules), students will also be expected to follow classroom rules within the classroom. Students will receive 'compliments' for showing an exceptional example of following a rule. Students will receive 'corrections' for displaying behavior that does not follow our set behavior plan. These will be tracked throughout the day by all teachers.

Points will be given on ClassDojo for 'compliments' and points will be taken away when 'corrections' or unacceptable behavior occurs. Students will then be able to trade in dojo points for rewards at the end of most weeks.

Homework

Blue folders will be sent home on the last day of each week. The blue folder will contain a weekly spelling list to study for the Spelling Test given the following Friday. You might also find the class newsletter, student work, school news, etc... ALL blue folders need to be returned to school empty the following Monday (unless there is something that specifically needs to be returned).

KES Grading Policy

A- 100%-90%

B- 89%-80%

C- 79%-70%

D- 69%-60%

F- 59% or below
