I grew up in the small city of Danville, Illinois, and graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. From 2010-2020 I traveled Southeast Asia and taught as an elementary English teacher for ten years in South Korea, Indonesia, and China. I know a little bit of each of those languages and have a passion for learning about new cultures and languages.
Outside of teaching, I like to spend my free time working out, exploring nature, playing sports, traveling, working outside, crafting, doing house DIY projects and enjoying the sunshine.
My husband and I love taking road trips, hiking, and exploring beautiful sites. We also love tending to our small farm of chickens and goats.
I also love spending time with my friends, my family, and our three dogs, Nobi, Mallie, and Bear.
My husband, Nick, and I reside in Rossville, IN.
I was blessed with 2 bonus teens who I enjoy spending time with!
