Training on inclusive learning courses digitization

On January 27-29, 2022, a training on inclusive learning courses digitization by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine was held for the executors of the DigEco project. About 100 participants from universities in Ukraine and Tajikistan joined the seminars. The focus was on the problem of inclusion in higher education. During the trainings, participants had the opportunity to work in separate Zoom halls, where they shared experiences and difficulties that students with disabilities face during their studies in higher education institutions.

Speakers O. Omelchenko and I. Sarancha presented a detailed analysis of modern approaches, tools and mobile applications that can increase the effectiveness of inclusive higher education. The issue of motivating students with disabilities was discussed separately. The perticipants noted the relevance of the topics of the seminar, the modernity of the proposed tools for teachers and students.     

Preventing monitoring on Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan / DigEco 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP Project

On October 22, the procedure of Preventive Monitoring of the results on the DigEco project in Ukrainian partner universities was held. The participants were State Higher Education Institution Pryazovskyi State Technical University (P4), Admiral Makarov National University оf Shipbuilding (P5), Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University (P6), Kamianets-Podіlskyi National Ivan Ohiienko University  (P7) and Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University (P8). Welcoming remarks were made by Chief Project Coordinator, Professor Janeta Simanaviciene (Mykolos Romeris University), National Coordinator from Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olena Khadzhinova (Pryazovskyi State Technical University), Rector of Admiral Makarov National University оf Shipbuilding, Professor, Yugeniy Trushliakov, Vice-rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University Andriy Morozov, Rector of Kamianets-Podіlskyi National Ivan Ohiienko University, Doctor of History, Professor Serhii Kopylov, Vice-rector for International Affairs of Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University, Doctoe of Education, Associate Professor Olena Titova and the Head of Parostok, Ph.D. Iryna Sarancha. Experts Veronika Tkachenko and Petro Krainik listened to the reports of the coordinators. During the discussion, all the details of the results for the first year on the project were clarified. Svitlana Shitikova, the coordinator from the Ukrainian Erasmus+ office joined the discussion. The representatives of the financial and economic services with reports, students and stakeholders from each partner university also took part in the monitoring. The representatives of the Ukrainian Erasmus+ office provided valuable advice on intensifying the project results.

Pilot teaching at Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi

From September 30 to October 6, a pilot teaching on the DigEco project was held at Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi and Tajik State Financial and Economic University in Dushanbe. All representatives of the consortium took part in the events.

 A number of lectures were held in all disciplines provided by the project. Special attention was paid to the specifics of developing courses for students with disabilities.

During the stay in Tajikistan, a tripartite cooperation agreement was signed between Dmytro Motorny Tavriya State Agrotechnological University, Priazovsky State Technical University and Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi.

The Ukrainian delegation visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Tajikistan, Nurek Hydroelectric Power Plant. After the working meetings, the delegation visited cultural and historical monuments, including the National Museum in Dushanbe.

Participation of TSATU teachers in the Week of Digital Economy  

From August 21 to 25, 2021, Mykolos Romeris University hosted participants of the DigEco project, including representatives of the Tavriya State Agrotechnological University. During the Digital Economy Week, our colleagues mastered the innovative pedagogical technologies and software used by European teachers in the digital economy. European colleagues gave a series of lectures on Blockchain, Innovation management and Disruptive technology, Digital Marketing in Action, Design Thinking and Fintech in Banking, Insurance and Asset Management. The problems of inclusive education were presented separately in the seminar "How to develop e-learning materials available for inclusive education".

Representatives of the working groups discussed the results of the project, difficulties and prospects, consulted with European colleagues.

During their stay in Lithuania, representatives of Ukrainian organizations visited the Embassy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian community in the Republic of Lithuania. It was a good opportunity to present the DigEco project, its concept and results.

Meeting with the Zaporizhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry representatives 

On October 9, 2021, as part of the DigEco project, the work group met with the representatives of the Zaporizhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Vice President Andriy Kuts and Head of the Department of Organizational Work and International Relations Ksenia Nagorna. During the meeting the following issues were discussed: partnership with the enterprises of Zaporizhia, implementation of the enterprises of the cluster Automation-Industry-Engineering, mentoring at the Master educational level and support of the DigitalEconomics international scientific competition.

DigEco International Scientific and Practical conference

On September 9-10, 2021 Digital Business Transfotmation: challenges and opportunities for partnership conference was held within the project "Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan" (DigEco) 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE- JP. Up to 100 participants from Ukraine, Lithuania, Romania, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan participated in fruitful and inspiring scientific communication on the wide range of issues of business transformation in the digital age.

The main thematic areas of the conference were:

  1. Digital business models and tools to implement in marketing and entrepreneurship

  2. Big Data usage in entrepreneurship

  3. Digital outbreak for One belt, One way

  4. Digital, analytic, and accounting support for entrepreneurship sustainable development

  5. Features of modern digital economy in services industry

DigEco presentation for Melitopol business women 

On July 23, 2021 at the regular meeting of Melitopol Business Women's Club, the coordinator of DigEco project in Melitopol Daria Legeza presented the international project "Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan" / DigEco 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP for the participants of the meeting.

 



The concept, partners, TSATU working group and the main tasks of the project were presented. Women-entrepreneurs noted the possibilities of introducing elements of the digital economy into the educational process of training master students at TSATU and creating conditions for inclusive digital education for people with special needs.

Scientific and practical conference within the DigEco project

On May 25-26, 2021, the teachers of the Marketing Department at Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digitalization of the Economy as a Factor of Sustainable Development", organized by State Higher Education Institution Pryazovskyi State Technical University. The event was supported by the partner universities of the DigEco project. The staff of the Marketing Department had an opportunity to exchange experiences on the problems connected with digitalization of economic, join scientific discussions and consider the prospects for the development of partnerships within the international project.


Online trainings on digital economy

During the month from February 23 to March 23, 2021 under the DigEco project, a team of professors from European universities provided seminars and trainings for project participants from Ukraine and Tajikistan.

Teachers from TSATU participated in seminars and trainings on blockchain, innovation management and destructive technologies, Fintech in banking. The participants worked on master classes on insurance and asset management, digital marketing and project thinking. Professors from European universities presented innovative digital business models, methods of big data analysis in the field of finance and business analytics. The issues of flexible project management, ensuring digital efficiency in business and economics, digital literacy of experts, data analysis problems for marketing and big data management were considered.

Trainings were conducted by: Prof. habil. dr. Žaneta Simanavičienė –professor at MRU Academy of Public Security, Doctor of Social Sciences; Prof. dr. Rūta Adamonienė – Professor at MRU Academy of Public Security, Doctor of Social Sciences; Marius Laurinaitis – Associate professor, Doctor of Social Sciences, Daiva Bičkauskė, Saulius Kromalcas and Jurij Matuskevichs – Ph.D. students in Economics at Mykolas Romeris University. Prof. Dr. Boštjan Brumen and Prof. Dr. Gregor Polančič from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Institute of Informatics, University of Maribor (Slovenia). Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marina Tropmann-Frick- Professor for Data Science and Prof. Dr. Martin Schultz-Professor for Business Information Systems Department of Computer Science, University of Applied Sciences Hamburg. (Germany).

Consultations with the first deputy mayor of Melitopol

On March 10, 2021 in the Executive Committee of Melitopol City Council, the DigEco working group and the First Deputy Mayor of Melitopol Irina Rudakova had a meeting and a consultation on the international project Erasmus+ "Digitalization of the economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan". The meeting was attended by the head of the Melitopol Development Agency Iryna Slavova, the head of the Department for Entrepreneurship and Industry Development Iryna Fursova and the head of the City Social and Economic Development Department Yuriy Zakharchuk.

The coordinator of the DigEco Erasmus+ project in Melitopol, Daria Legeza, presented the main objectives of the project, which included introduction and improvement of disciplines in the digital economy for master students at TSATU as well as creating opportunities for inclusive digital education. A special achievement of TSATU's partnership with international partners in the framework of the DigEco Erasmus+ project is the opportunity to train students, in 




particular students with special needs, using laboratories with advanced equipment and software that allows to gain practical knowledge and skills in the field of digital economy as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine.

The management of the Executive Committee of the City Council expressed readiness to promote the partnership with Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University within the framework of the DigEco Erasmus+ international project. The cooperation will provide an opportunity to improve qualifications of TSATU graduates to the requirements of the labor market and meet the demand for in-demand experts in the digital economy. The partnership will be focused on the development of professional skills for employees with special needs strengthening social dialogue. We could predict the joint productive work on the way to digitalization of higher education and deveopment of inclusive education.

Kick-off Meeting

February 12, 2021 became the day of the official start for the Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan Project. 15 university partners from the EU, Ukraine and Tajikistan and more than 65 participants met online to discuss the most important issues of the first level of cooperation focused on hihgher education digitalization, introduction of learning facilities for Digital Economy curricula and inclusive education. Prof. Zaneta Simanaviciene, Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Prof. Regina Valutyte, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Andrea Murzi, Project Officer (EACEA), Oleh Sharov, the Representative of the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine, Svitlana Shitikova, Сoordinator of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine, Prof. Oleksandr Cheiliakh, Vice – Rector of Pryazovskyi State Technical University (P4) and Mamadamon Abduloev, Vice- Rector of Tajik Technical University named after academician M.Osimi (P9), DigEco national coordinator for Tajikistan gave their welcome speeches. SWOT analyzes for UA HEIs and for For TJK HEIs as well  as WP and the draft of training schedule were presented.  

Projct Counselling

On January 21, 2021 the representatives of TSATU working group, Olena Titova and Olena Demchuk visited Priazovsky State Technical University in  Mariupol to consult Kateryna Polupanova, the local coordinator of DigEco for Ukraine. Some urgent organization and finance questions were discussed as well as operational goals and deadlines were set.

Working Meetings

On January 19, 2021 a working meeting on the project was held. The participants discussed organizational questions concerned papers, site content, improvement of the working group English level and perspective events for dessimination of information about DigEco approaches, principles and activity.

DigEco Open Ceremony

On December 15, 2020 the Open Ceremony of the project Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan / DigEco 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP took place at the ZOOM platform.
