An SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) is a required and important part of a complete agricultural education program, and it is designed for every student. Through participation in an SAE, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of careers and occupations, learn professional workplace expectations, and develop hands-on skills within the agricultural industry.
SAEs also allow students to apply what they are learning in the classroom through real-world or simulated workplace experiences. This helps students build confidence, gain experience, and better prepare for future college and career opportunities.
