Every home meet requires many volunteers, from setting up chairs, tables, and tents before the event, judging and tabulating results during, and putting away sound equipment and other supplies after. Please be ready to answer the call.

Meet Day Help for Home Meets 

• Pool setup before meet 

Set up 2 team tents, the table for table work and a tent over that table.  Bring audio equipment down from the clubhouse.  Help concessions with their table set up.

• Pool tear-down after meets -  all hands on deck (we ask all parents present to help)

Return all tables, tents, chairs to the pump house and audio equipment to the clubhouse.  Clean up team areas if trash was left behind (please tell a rep if our team has left trash, this is not Ok!)

• Concessions Sales

Help run concessions by collecting money, delivering change, setting up and replenshing food, etc.

• Judges : 2

The best seat in the house!  Please attend a scheduled judges clinic so that you feel prepared.

• Referee: 1

Referees must judge at least one NVSL meet before attending a clinic for certification.   Certification lasts two seasons but referees are responsible for any rule changes made since last season as highlighted in the rule book.

• Table Workers : 2

1 person will record judges scores, strike highest and lowest and add remainder, 1 person will take that number and multiply it by the  assigned degree of difficulty to determine the score.  Both will participate in checking sheets from our team and the visiting team for errors and making corrections prior to the meet.

• Meet Secretary: 1

write out all participants names and scores, keep meet score, write out ribbons

Meet Day Help for Away Meets

• Judges: 3

• Table Workers: 2

Other

• Photographer (document our meets, practice and game days so that we have photos and video for our slideshow)

• Slideshow Creator!  (create a slideshow of our season to share with the team at the awards banquet)

• Banquet Coordinator: grab a cake, root beer floats and set up for the big event!)

• Social Coordinator: Coordinate social events with the swim team (1 Wednesday event and 1 Friday Pep Rally)

• Picture Day Volunteer: wrangle our kids and get a discount on photos!
