Welcome to the MMS Community!
The Madison PTA is a nonprofit organization comprised of parents, teachers, and administrators that serves to enhance the educational experience of our Madison Middle School students. Through Membership Dues and fundraising, we provide funding for a variety of programs such as:
Teacher and Staff Appreciation: The PTA recognizes our hard-working staff and teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week and throughout the school year.
Student Agenda Pads: Every grade 6 student receives an agenda pad at the start of the school year to help them keep track of their assignments and activities. These are also available upon request for 7th- and 8th-grade students.
ROARS Program Tickets and Prizes: The ROARS incentive program is part of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, which sets clear behavioral and academic expectations to promote a safe, positive school climate for students. Students can earn reward tickets by demonstrating the ROARS traits: Respect, Ownership, Attitude, Responsibility, and Safety. Tickets can be redeemed for various prizes.
Classroom Materials: There are two ways teachers can request funding for supplementary teaching, programmatic, or enrichment classroom supplies or materials: the Teacher Mini-Grant and the Panther Perks programs.
Angel Funds: Students whose families cannot afford field trip participation fees can request financial assistance by contacting the school Principal.
Panther Play Day: This spring event offers students a refreshing break from academic pressures through fun, engaging activities.
We also organize a variety of enrichment opportunities and activities such as: Health Fair, Ski Club, Eighth Grade Career Night, Eighth Grade Activities, and more!
