It is very important that 2nd graders have a mastery of their basic addition and subtraction math facts. Each Friday, a math fact sheet will come home and is due the following Friday. Students have at home access to Xtramath, a great online resource that we use in school.

Students will be having six timed basic fact assessments each trimester. They will have 2 1/2 minutes to solve 30 basic addition or subtraction facts. There will be three addition and three subtraction fact quizzes each trimester.
