To enrich the traditions of American music and inspire future generations through preservation, exhibition, and celebratory events that archive the WGH Marching and Concert Band performances with special focus on the nationally recognized ‘Fleming Era’ 1958 to 1968, under Director Robert E. Fleming, with Assistant Directors Clinton E. Foster and John S. Kobasiar, Jr., and continuing through the 1970s and 1980s Fleming-inspired bands where the tradition successfully continued.
