Classroom Policy
All students are expected to attend school every day, to be on time, and come ready to learn. Being ready to learn implies students respect their peers, teachers, school policies, and do their best each and every day with integrity.
Discipline Policy
No student will stop the teacher from teaching. No student will stop another student from learning. No student will engage in behavior that is not in their best interest or in the best interest of others.

Moving Forward
English grades 9 and 10 is the foundation of secondary English - Students successful in English I, will transition to English II or Advanced English II. Students in English II, will transition to English III or Advanced Placement (AP) English. This class will prepare students to think critically, develop college and career skills, read closely and develop strong writing and research skills. This course will prepare students to work independently and work in groups effectively and efficiently.
Students will be writing Literary Analysis Essays, Narratives, RST, and be prepared to present with effective public speaking skills.
