We gather here together with joyful heart and mind
We raise our voices ever, our distant souls to bind
To remember in this moment of friendship love and joy
That music made together may one day heal mankind
To remember in this moment of friendship love and joy
That music made together may one day heal mankind
By Woody Guthrie
Refrain Chorus:
This land is your land, this land is my land,
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me
1. As I was walking that ribbon highway,
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley,
This land was made for you and me
Refrain Chorus
2. I roamed and rambled I followed my footsteps,
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was singing
This land was made for you and me
Refrain Chorus
3. The sun was shining as I was strolling,
Wheat fields waving, dust clouds rolling
A voice was singing, the fog was lifting
This land was made for you and me
Refrain Chorus
The Crawdad Song American Folk Song
You get a line and I’ll get a pole honey. You get a line and I’ll get a pole babe
You get a line and I’ll get a pole. We’ll go fishin in the crawdad hole
Honey sugar baby mine
Whatcha gonna do when the stream runs dry honey. Whatcha gonna do when the stream runs dry babe
Whatcha gonna do when the stream runs dry. Sit on the bank and watch the crawdads cry
Honey sugar baby mine
Here comes a man with a sack on his back honey. Here comes a man with a sack on his back babe
Here comes a man with a sack on his back. He’s got all the crawdads he can pack
Honey sugar baby mine
The man fell down and broke the sack honey. The man fell down and broke the sack babe
The man fell down and broke the sack. Look at all the crawdads running on back
Honey sugar baby mine
Look at that crawdad dancing all around honey. Look at that crawdad dancing all around babe
Look at that crawdad dancing all around. He’s the Mayor of Crawdad Town
Honey sugar baby mine
