Trove Mental Health is a fee-for-service or cash pay practice and considered "out of network." The full cost of each visit is to be paid by the patient at the time of service. Acceptable payment methods include: cash, check, credit card, HSA card, or Flexible Spending Card.
The goal is to ethically utilize insurance benefits when available. Therefore, Trove Mental Health will provide a superbill to the patient for the evaluation visit that they may choose to submit on their own behalf for potential reimbursement from their insurance provider. However, it is understood that regardless of individual insurance coverage or type, the patient is ultimately responsible for all charges.
Evaluation Visit
A comprehensive evaluation ensures your safety and maximizes the chances of treatment success. It confirms that KAP is the appropriate medical and psychological path for your specific condition, verifies that there are no contraindications (e.g., uncontrolled blood pressure or psychosis), and establishes a precise treatment protocol tailored to your unique needs for the most profound and safe outcome.
Cost: $175 one time fee
Medication Session
A KAP medication session is a deeply intentional therapeutic experience. You will be in a comfortable, supervised setting with a supportive therapist present. After receiving a sub-anesthetic dose of ketamine, you will enter a time of focused introspection and altered awareness to process insights, break psychological barriers, and experience connection, often with the aid of an eye mask and music. The session typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, followed by an integration period with your therapist.
Cost: $475 per medication visit
Preparation and integration sessions are foundational components of effective KAP. The preparation sessions are designed to help you set intentions, understand the process, and feel safe and supported before your ketamine administration. Following the ketamine session, integration sessions provide a crucial space to process and make meaning of the experiences, translating insights gained into lasting change.
These preparation sessions can be facilitated by your primary KAP therapist. Alternatively, if you do not currently have a KAP therapist, these sessions can be facilitated specifically by the Trove provider supporting your medical aspect of care.
Regarding integration, you have flexibility: these crucial sessions can be facilitated by your primary KAP therapist, the Trove provider, or even your primary individual therapist, depending on your existing care structure and preference.
Cost: $150 per session*
*Some clients request two preparation sessions. A single integration session can be typical when participating in ongoing therapy outside of KAP.
A Group KAP session offers the synergy of medicine and shared experience within a contained community. You will join others navigating similar life transitions (e.g., menopause, burnout, ADHD management, or early adult transitioning), in a safe and supportive setting. Following a therapeutic dose of ketamine, the group engages in introspection, using the altered state to gain personal insights where shared processing enhances healing, connection, and the application of new perspectives.
