Summer Camp

For Troop 702, the most exciting event of the year is Summer Camp. Every summer, the Troop travels to Gilmanton, NH, home of Hidden Valley Scout Camp. Scout Camp is a 6-day trip full of fun, happiness, bonding, and work. The first day, you will go to your site and set up camp. This includes sleeping arrangements, patrols, and anything else your troop needs. Then you will be given a tour of Scout Camp. You will be shown where activities take place, like the opening and closing ceremonies, meals, and merit badge stations! The next 4 days are full of merit badge work, troop activities, and rank advancement. Then the last day, after all the fun and events, comes a time of sadness. A time of goodbyes. But this day also marks the end of this wonderful trip, a trip where you will meet new friends, accomplish feats, and bond over fun events.
