Summer Camp is a week of fun and adventure that your scout won't want to miss. Scouts learn skills, make friends, and grow in confidence in a beautiful, safe and supervised setting. Planning starts early for this jam-packed week so each year we distribute a countdown calendar with specific dates to help families get ready. Below is a general guideline of what happens when leading up to the big week.

JANUARY

• Schedule scout's physical.  Bring BSA medical form .  Parents complete part A & B.  Physician completes part C.

• Initial payment due

FEBRUARY

• Info meeting to discuss key dates, new class choices, older scout programs

• Identify adults attending and those interested in Assistant Scoutmaster training

MARCH

• Scouts choose merit badge classes and off-site adventure

• Swim test for all campers

• Medical forms due

• New campers and parents meet to discuss how camp works

• Final payment due

• Campership applications due

APRIL

• New scout medical forms due

• Submit tent buddy requests

• Identify parent drivers, car capacity, etc.

• Identify Patrol Leader Council (PLC) for summer camp

MAY

• Permission slips and adventure waivers due

• Youth Protection Training (YPT) due

• Family Night numbers and payment due

• Summer Camp Patrol Leader Council meeting

• Pack check and camp review

• Medicine Dispersement Forms due

JUNE

• Leave for camp!
