Service

Scouting isn't just about earning badges and recognition.  Scouting strives to prepare youth to become responsible, involved  citizens and leaders who are guided by the values of the Scout Oath and Law. You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give.

Scouting's founder, Robert Baden-Powell once said, "We must change boys' attitudes from 'what can I get?' to a 'what can I give?' "

Troop 1134 embraces this philosophy through ongoing service to our chartered organization, local community, and global conservation.
