2020/2021 School Year Program Updates
Hello Triton Families,
Welcome Back! While the return to school this fall was not what any of us envisioned, we will get through it together! I want to assure you the Triton Food Service Department has been working hard to create a safe and welcoming environment in our kitchens and cafeterias. Our mission continues to be to provide our students with healthy meals that will support them, both in school and at home. I want to thank you in advance for participating in our program as it keeps our staff working and our program sustainable. Menus are posted monthly.
In-School Meals –
While your children are in school, they will receive a free breakfast and lunch – no need to pack one. All meals contain freshly prepared, pre-packaged meal components, allowing us to set aside any concerns about added exposure to germs during this pandemic. Students just need to grab their choice of an entrée, milk, fruit, & vegetable. A la carte items like bottled water, juice, snacks, etc. are available for purchase with money on their MySchoolBucks accounts. To protect our students and staff, we have gone “contactless” at the registers. All students will receive an ID scan badge that will be used to obtain meals and/or snacks. Remote Learning Meals –
We are providing Grab-n-Go Meals that contain 5 days’ worth of meals (5 breakfasts & 5 lunches) at no cost for anyone 18 years and under, whether you live in Byfield, Newbury, Rowley, or Salisbury. Like in-school meals, all the grab and go meals contain freshly prepared, pre-packaged meal components, allowing us to set aside any concerns about added exposure to germs during this pandemic. Further, all handling of food, including deliveries by school bus, will only be done by ServSafe trained and certified Food Service staff. To enroll in the GnG meal service, simply complete this brief survey.

For ALL children 18 years and under. NO ID Required. Children Do Not Have to Be Present to Receive Meals.
