 Our Purpose

Thoughts from the Dodge County Host FFA Chapters:

Triton FFA, Triton FFA Alumni, Hayfield FFA, Kasson-Mantorville FFA, Pine Island FFA, Byron FFA, Stewartville FFA, Blooming Prairie FFA and Kenyon-Wanamingo FFA would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the FFA chapters and Alumni Chapters in Minnesota to celebrate the cultural and economic importance of the dairy animal in our state. at the oldest fairgrounds in Minnesota.  The  Dodge County FFA chapters and Dodge County Fairgrounds in Kasson are excited to host the Quadricentennial Party 'Til the Cows Come Home Dairy Show June 6 and 7th, 2024.  We wanted to celebrate the milestone of 400 years since the dairy cow came to the Plymouth Colony by hosting a dairy extravaganza including an open to the public Burger Bash meal, fitting contest, showmanship contest, awards and sponsor recognition ceremony.  The second day is show day with colored breeds exhibited in the morning and Holsteins in the afternoon.  We look forward to you joining us in Kasson June 6 and 7!

Words from our Show Manager Cadence Spearman

Hey, Minnesota FFA members! I'm Cadence Spearman a senior from the Triton FFA chapter located in Dodge Center, MN. I have participated in the Dairy Evaluation CDE at the region and state levels my whole high school career. Along with judging dairy cattle I also am very passionate about showing dairy at all levels! As part of the Triton High School graduation requirements, students must complete a Senior Project that is relevant to their future career interests. Recognizing my passion for the dairy industry and FFA, I chose to host a state wide dairy show open to all Minnesota FFA members! The year 2024 is not only my graduation year, but the 400th anniversary of dairy cows arriving to the Plymouth Colony. I hope my passion for both industries can help young agriculturalists in every industry find their path to success in AG!
