Daily Schedule
8:00 AM Arrival and Table Tubs
Students store their belongings and begin the day with playful fun!
8:30 AM Circle Time
Morning announcements, review of the schedule, calendar review
8:40 AM Large Group Reading
Children are exposed to a story and literacy elements as a large group of learners.
9:00 AM Snack/Break
Children eat their morning snack to fuel them for learning!
9:20 AM Specials
Art W, Music Tu/Th, Library F
9:45 AM Literacy Rotations
Children break into small groups of 3 and rotate through their 15 minute literacy stations; teacher table, listening to reading, literacy tubs, and writing.
10:45 AM Recess
Outdoor play. PE, etc.
11:30 AM Lunch
Children eat a well balanced lunch to recharge!
12:00 PM Math
Children complete their daily math lesson typically followed by music and movement counting.
12:20 PM Read Aloud/Rest Time
Children spread out to rest in the classroom for a period of 40 minutes. There will be an audiobook playing. Students who sleep will be allowed to continue resting.
1:00 PM Centers
Children engage in play in preselected learning centers of their choosing.
2:00 PM Religion
Children spend time learning about Jesus.
2:20 PM Snack
Children enjoy a snack supplied by their parents.
2:40 PM Science, Social Studies, or Social-Emotional Learning
Children engage in one final lesson for the day in one of the targeted areas.
3:15 PM Closure/Dismissal
We pray together, then pack our bags and are ready to head home!
