Mr. Schultz has received a call to teach at St. Stephen's in Beaver Dam. Please keep him in your prayers as he considers where to best serve the Lord.
The congregation has begun the process to find a replacement for Mrs. Schmidt's current role as Extended Learning teacher. We will give updates when that position has been filled. If you have any questions please reach out to Mr. Rathje.
Weather permitting, we will have Arbor Day on April 24. This gives our K-8 students the opportunity to get outside, clean up the campus, and spend time together in service to the Lord.
3rd-8th grade students can bring garden gloves.
In addition 5th-8th grade students are asked to bring rakes and/or push brooms (Be sure to label your tools with your name).
Some 8th grade students will travel to homes with a chaperone to help clean up for individuals who need the extra help. More details will follow.
The forensics festival at Trinity will be held on Monday, April 22nd from 6:30-7:30. Our 5th - 8th grade students have been working hard. Anyone is welcome to come and watch.
The Academic Fair is tomorrow at SLHS from 5pm-6:30.
Please see the attached calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. (Please note that the Parent information night will be moved to the August 13th.)
There will be a congregational voters' meeting on Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 PM. All members are welcome to attend.
Please be ready for adjustments with traffic flow today as some construction equipment may be loaded into the construction zone and/or construction parking zone.
We will need to adjust the flow in the parking lot to accommodate the work in the church as well. Beginning April 22nd we will use the following diagram for traffic in the parking lot. Please note that drop off time will begin at 8:25 in the morning to provide the extra time that is needed. We encourage parents to use the loop rather than park. If you must park in the lot in the morning please note that we will only have one row. This will help us to make room for construction.
There will be a new Teen Bible Study beginning this Sunday between church services.
Apologetics: Defending the Faith
All students in grades 7-12 are welcome to join and snacks will be provided. See you there!
GOD BE PRAISED! This summer we will be joined by our new pastor and seventh grade teacher. We would like to present these families with a gift from the congregation. We are looking for donations to include in a welcome basket for our new called workers.
Suggested items for the basket:
Gift Cards for groceries, local restaurants, local nurseries, local sites etc.
Items for the beach
Items for a snowy climate
Local information about restaurants, city activities
Local Food items such as Kringle, cheeses etc. NOTE: Food items should be donated closer to the arrival dates of our workers so they are not expired!
Items will be gathered for the next three months (April-June), and can be placed in the green bins in the expansion hallway.
Attention all Scrip users:
You have 2 months left to purchase scrip to get your CASH BACK in June or use your earnings towards the next school year tuition. Closing day is May 31st.
If you’re still unsure how to use scrip to get cash back or help with tuition costs, please come see us at the scrip table by the office each morning.
If you would like to purchase a gift card for the new Pastor or new teacher, this would be a great opportunity as well.
